Lisa Ramírez

My name is Lisa and I work as the operations manager in a Spanish institute. I love my city- Bogotá, and I want to show you more about it. I like to walk, go to the cinema, and sleep.

If you are thinking of staying at a hotel in Bogotá, you want luxury and a relaxed atmosphere with amazing food. In this city, you can find all this and much more!

In Colombia, especially in Bogotá, we have a lot of international hotels like the Hilton, Four Seasons, Sheraton, Marriott, and Hyatt, and you can weigh your options depending on which area you want to stay in.

Bogotá is a big city and if you want to stay here, you’ll need to take into consideration what you want to do or see, if you are coming for business or vacation, and how long you will be staying.

Near the airport

If you are coming for business near the airport or only for a layover, I will recommend you the 3 best hotels in that area.

CASA MEDINA

This hotel is full of history: first, it was the house of one of the richest families in Colombia. Then, in the garage, they opened a restaurant, and finally they transformed the entire house into a hotel. This hotel has a penthouse suite and other rooms that practically look like private apartments, so if you are travelling with a family, this option may be the best. Although the building is historic, a few years ago, they extended the hotel by building a modern addition.

Four Seasons has another hotel in Zona Rosa. If you like to walk and explore different restaurants and shopping malls, the other Four Seasons might be better for you.
