Houspoon is a digital platform that allows you to meet new people and new flavors by offering unique experiences that you can select and book online. Every experience is different, from enjoying a taster menu in a speakeasy restaurant or being part of a cooking class where you can eat amazing food and learn some recipes to dazzle all your friends and family. This platform is the best way to meet great people or do some networking while eating great food.
How does it work?
The platform is very straightforward. First you need to sign up and right after that, you will get a confirmation email that will take you to a form where you need to fill in some basic information about yourself, like birthday, gender, Instagram account (if you have one), some of your interests, and something fun about you. The whole process doesn’t take more than 10 minutes and it helps to build a sense of community while connecting you with people that share some of your same interests.

Overall, Houspoon is a great tool to get to do something different in a nice and easy-going environment. If you are uncertain about which event to sign up for, I advise you to try the event at Casa de Extranos (House of Strangers), which is a 5-course taster menu that will allow you to explore some of the amazing ingredients of 5 regions in Colombia. The dinner starts at 8 pm and it only hosts 12 people. In this case, you are allowed to bring a plus one because the idea is that the people don’t know each other (hence the name).
