In Bogotá, you can find several options that offer go-karts; it just depends on what you are looking for and sometimes the weather. There are no limits for speed lovers to have fun in these places! Some of them are indoors, others are outdoors, some have tracks with bridges, and some even have minibikes to drive. So, if you love adrenaline and fun activities, here I will show you the most enjoyable go-kart places in Bogotá based on their tracks, karts, and the special features that each of them has to offer. Fasten your seatbelt and let’s start!
LA PISTA INDOOR KART: FEEL THE ADRENALINE OF FORMULA 1
The first option on the table gives you the real experience of professional drivers at motor racing. La Pista has 18 years of experience providing the best service for everyone, and I believe that this is the reason why they are the first choice for everybody. This place is located at “Autopista Norte #224-60” in northern Bogotá. They are open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm and Sundays and holidays from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
La Pista is an indoor kart track and has 270 meters long and 3 times a year, they change their track, so you will have a different experience throughout the year and guess what? It’s the only one that has a bridge. Their karts are like the normal ones we are used to, but instead of using gasoline, they are powered by batteries and this does not interfere with their speed because they can still reach 55 km/h (34.18 miles per hour) and, of course, they give you safety gear.
You can come with a few friends for a race with a narrator during the competition and have the scores at the end of it. Also, if you are going alone, you can join another group and have the same adventure! They really work on giving you the real experience of professional racing. The only requirements they have are to be over 14 years old and at least 4 feet 11 inches.

XTREME KARTS BOGOTÁ: THE BIGGEST INDOOR TRACK IN SOUTH AMERICA
This go-kart place located in the parking lot of the mall Centro Comercial Outlet Factory (Avenida de Las Américas #62-84) is famous because it has the biggest indoor track in South America! And if that was not enough, it offers not just powerful 100% electric karts for racing, but mini bikes too!
My experience in this place was amazing! They gave me all the equipment to have a safe race and the usual instructions. In the end, they let the top 3 drivers stand on a podium for the trophy ceremony and of course, pictures!
The only requirement for Xtreme Karts is the height: you have to be at least 4.5 feet (1.40 meters) tall. The cost is $16,000 COP ($5.2o USD) for a 6-minute race with the kart or the motorcycles, and they are open Monday to Sunday, including holidays, from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
SUPERKARTS: A TRACK MADE BY A PILOT AND A HIGH-SPEED KART
Get on your favorite locator app (mine is Google Maps) and enter this location: Calle 20 #82-52 and it should guide you to the Centro Comercial Hayuelos mall. When you arrive, go to the parking lot and you are ready to drive at SuperKarts!
This space offers modern technology, starting from the entrance that greets you with ultraviolet and also colorful lights to the amazing gas-free karts that reach a speed between 70 to 80 km/hr (43.50 to 49.70 miles per hour).
Their track was designed by the driver and investor, Juan Camilo Duque, it has a lot of curves, including a sharp one that is really difficult to take at maximum speed, but still gives you the experience of how real tracks are.
Before driving, they give you an introduction to newbies and the way you have to react if there is an accident or emergency. And of course, they give you safety equipment.
You can bring your kids to drive too since they don’t have any requirements to race. The prices are $19,900 COP ($6 USD) for 1 race of 6 min , $35,800 COP ($12 USD) for 2 races of 6 min each, and $50,700 COP ($17 USD) for 3 races of 6 min.
They are open:
- Mondays from 3:00pm to 9:00pm
- Tuesdays from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- Wednesdays from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- Fridays from 12:00pm to 12:00am
- Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am to 12; 00 am

KARTODROMO KART WAY: 600 METERS OF OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE
If you want to experience an outdoor race, the Kartodromo Kart Way, located at Autopista Norte #232-35 next to C.C. Bima mall, will be your choice!
This track is huge! It has 600 meters full of fun and their karts run on gas, unlike the others.
What I like about the Kartodromo Kart Way is that it’s perfectly enjoyable on sunny days with your family, not just because it’s outdoors, but because everyone can drive, no matter age. Somehow if your child very little or you are waiting your turn, you can drive a remote control car at the Bima Racing Track it is fun and also outdoor.
The prices depend on the amount of time you are interested in racing. If you want just 5 min, then this will cost you just $15,000 COP ($5 USD); for 10 min $30,000 COP ($10 USD) and 15 min $42,000 COP ($14 USD). They are open from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and weekends and holidays from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
For all of them, it’s better to go with a group, but don’t forget to call or text before going to make a reservation, because most of them have a limit when it comes to groups.
Also, try to go in comfortable clothes and some sneakers because it will be better for driving, not only on the track but also in getting there (which I recommend taking Uber or the bus).
